Healthy White Bean dip recipe

bean dip recipe A great dip recipe that you can use for after-school snacks or hors-d-oeuvres at a party. So easy to make - simply puree the ingredients together and chill!
Ingredients
15 oz. white kidney beans or cannelli, drained
1 clove minced garlic
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Cayenne pepper
Additional oregano to taste
Toasted pita wedges
Directions
Puree first 6 ingredients until smooth; season with salt and pepper.
Transfer mixture to a shallow bowl.
Cover and chill; may be made up to one day before serving.
Let stand 30 minutes at room temperature before serving. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper and additional oregano.
Serve with toasted pita wedges.
