Candle to kindle?

Recycling Candles

Instead of throwing away the last bits of candles left over when the wick is too short, I save them up and when there is enough-- I melt them down and mix in wood shavings or saw dust and let them harden.

I cut them into two by two inch squares and they make it quick and easy to start a fire in the wood stove. This saves on kindling as well.

Holly's Note:
I love this idea! You could also wrap up several of these to give as gifts or wrap them individually as wedding favors!
