Reusing Household Items

by Michelle Humes
(Olney Illinios)

Plastic coffee canisters I use to keep flour, sugar, Bisquik mix, cornmeal, pasta and any other pantry item you can think of in.

Plastic Syrup Pitchers or Bottles that Pour
Susan Taylor of Jacksonville, NC

Pour left over paint in them and when you need a quick touch up you can pour out as much as you need.

Editor's Note:
There are so many things you can do with these leftover canisters! Here are a few more:

- Keep in the car to put trash/litter in
- Decorate as a gift bag/box (think baked goods)
- Use it to store tools, small toys, or other odds and ends
