Wedding Invitations

I saved a lot of money by making my own wedding invitations. I started by making my own paper. I know it sounds kinda impressive but it is actually very easy and a lot of fun. I got a book from my local library on paper making and started my adventure. To personalize my paper I pressed flower petals into the paper - it looked lovely.

My sister has beautiful handwriting and she wrote the invitations for me by hand. Luckily it was a small wedding and the whole thing took her an afternoon to finish. We hand delivered most of the invitations ourselves and only had to post 6 to relatives that live in other cities.

I still have people bugging me for information on where to find the beautiful invitations I used. :)
