Wrapped Candy Bars as Budget Wedding Favors

by Cathy
(Oregon)

I used candy bars for our wedding favors. I ran them through the printer and personalized the wrapper. Then I used a glue stick underneath so there was no tape. They came out very cute! I bought the candy in bulk at Costco. They are fun to make and receive!

What you need:

  • Chocolate or other candy bars (candy is often on sale and you can regularly pick them up for a quarter each or three for a dollar.)

  • 12×12 scrapbook paper, cut into four equal squares

  • labels printed with the message of your choice (you can find fancy ones to print out on your computer with curly edges, etc.)

  • tape or glue

  • ribbons or other decorations, optional

Place one candy bar in the center of the backside of a paper square. Fold up one side. Fold up the other side. Secure with a piece of tape or glue. Place label on front of candy bar.
